About John
With an aviation career spanning more than
38 years, John A. Collver has accumulated some 13,000 hours in over
50 types of aircraft, including the Good Year blimp, and televisions
"Airwolf" helicopter. John was also a corporate pilot for Northrop
Grumman, where he flew propjets, Gulfstreams, a Lear 35 and a
Rockwell Sabreliner, until his retirement from corporate flying. He
is now entering his 25th year performing as a professional air show
demonstration pilot, and has over 1,000 air show performances under
his belt, spanning all over the West Coast United States.
John and his SNJ-5 "War Dog" have been
featured in several television shows, as well as numerous national
and international publications. John is currently a member of
I.C.A.S (International Council of Air Shows) and is an air show
safety evaluator.
John Collver has corporate event marketing
experience, and has worked with such companies as GTE Wireless,
Miller Draft Brewing Company, and Fleetwood Enterprise Motorhome
Corp. John Collver is very professional, easy to approach, and an
honest gentleman.
